Tiny whoop

A tiny whoop is a small drone, usually well under 100 grams, with its propellers enclosed in plastic ducts. Those ducts protect the props and whatever they might bump into, which makes tiny whoops a common choice for flying indoors, in hallways, or through small gaps where a larger quad would be impractical.

Because of their low weight and enclosed propellers, tiny whoops are also one of the more approachable ways for a new pilot to practice real stick control before stepping up to a larger, more expensive freestyle or racing quad. Crashes at this scale rarely cause meaningful damage to the drone or its surroundings.

The tradeoff for that compact size is flight time and power. Tiny whoops typically fly for only a few minutes per small battery and cannot handle wind well outdoors, so they suit calm indoor sessions rather than long or windy outdoor flights. Pilots moving up from a tiny whoop still find the stick habits carry over directly to larger drones.
