Best RC Transmitter Neck Straps

A full-size gimbal radio hung from a single central hook tips forward, and that nose-dive is the problem a transmitter strap has to solve. The parts that solve it are balance bars: an aluminum adapter, usually with three or four mounting holes, that bolts to the radio and lets you move the pickup point back until the transmitter hangs level with the sticks facing you. Without one you are constantly holding the radio up with your thumbs, which is exactly the fatigue that ruins a long session. So the first thing to check is whether a strap ships with a balancer, whether the balancer fits your radio's hook boss, and whether it offers enough hole positions to actually shift the balance point. Compatibility follows from hardware rather than brand names: most modern radios use a single threaded hook boss on the top face, and a strap with a sprung metal hook fits nearly all of them, while a few older transmitters use a fixed loop that needs a strap end rather than a hook. Strap width is the comfort variable, and a wide padded section spreads the weight of a radio carrying a screen and a big battery far better than a narrow woven band. Adjustment range should let you set the radio where your thumbs sit naturally, so look for a long slide with a positive cam lock rather than a friction buckle that creeps.
