What we liked
- + 1-inch CMOS sensor records 4K/60fps HDR video, a large sensor for a drone that folds to palm size.
- + Gimbal offers true vertical filming and 225 degree roll rotation for creative camera moves.
- + Omnidirectional obstacle sensing with forward-facing LiDAR and ActiveTrack 360 support subject tracking, including at night.
Trade-offs
- - Sits in the four-figure price range as a combo, so it is the compact premium pick here, not a budget way into aerial video.
- - Flight time is listed as up to 36 minutes per battery; the longer-lasting Plus batteries belong to a separate combo.
